How do I use Widget Burger?

Install the extension, open a new tab, then use the settings menu to change the background, add widgets, edit your layout, and adjust the space to your taste.

Do I need an account?

You can explore Widget Burger without an account. Signing in lets you add widgets from the website and sync the setup you choose with the extension.

Where is my new tab data stored?

Most extension data stays in your local browser. Widget Burger syncs only the data needed for account features and the widget setup you choose to sync.

Can I change or remove widgets later?

Yes. Open the settings menu in your new tab, enter edit mode, and move, resize, hide, or adjust widgets whenever you want.

Why does a widget ask for permission?

Some widgets need access to a specific provider or browser feature to work. Widget pages explain the permissions they use, and optional browser permissions are only requested when needed.

How do I report a bug or share an idea?

Send a note to support@widgetburger.com. Tell us what happened, what you expected, your browser, and anything else that would help us understand the issue.
